When we took this car in, we knew it had it's share of rust issues. A post media-blasting assessment indicated many further issues including a pair of horrible qtr-panels and some nasty impact damage which can be clearly seen in the blasted shell images below. It's fair to say that this original white 2BBL Charger R/T has now had a complete rear-end reconstruction. Rust has destroyed the trunk floor, trunk extensions and lower qtr-panels, combined with a front-end shunt it had early in it's life that was ill-repaired. The front was pulled and squared with the appropriate repairs undetaken. This car is fitted with it's matching numbers engine and although it was supplied to use with a 4-speed manual transmission, we completed a reversion to 3-speed as factory-fitted. Unfortunately due to time constraints, we did not have the opportunity to take as many detailed images of this build as I would have liked, however the finished vehicle images show a real nice streeter, Congratulations Ross !
