INTRODUCTION

Pentastar Parts & Restorations (PP&R) was founded in 2001 by father & son team, Ray & Ray ! (Senior & Junior). Both had been actively involved in the classic Chrysler enthusiast community, Senior a long standing President of CAVOA (Chrysler & Valiant Owners Association LTD) & Junior the creator of the popular website MoparMarket.com, the very website that invited the Ray's to attempt to operate a restoration establishment catering exclusively for Chrysler, Valiant, Dodge & Plymouth motor cars.

In 2002 the step was made to turn the part-time parts restoration services into a full-time affair with Ray Jnr occupying a single factory unit and Ray Snr attending part-time. Within 12 months Ray Snr was employed on a permanent basis @ PP&R. The vision of servicing all things Mopar was coming to light and plans to move into mechanical workshop facility was the ultimate goal. Shortly after the move was made, and our resident trained Mechanic (Allan) joined our them team of three.

Although parts supply & restoration was always a strong point, complete vehicle restoration was a common interest among the team. Prior to 2006 all Paint & Panel services were contracted outside PP&R, making it difficult to ensure quality control and inconvenient. 2006 saw the emergence not just a new year but the reaching of a new benchmark. PP&R moved into the factory unit next door and expanded into servicing our own Paint & Panel and hired a professional trained Automotive Paint Technician (Anton).

In Mid-2006, PP&R launched it's long-awaited online store. It's success has seen PP&R offer the largest available array of replacement products for classic Chrysler motor cars. Today, PP&R's parts department is bigger and better than ever, with the best prices around and a large Ebay store to compliment our webstore. Qualified vehicle repairer Chris, joined our team in late 2007 and in 2008 PP&R built a sheet metal fabrication section, now staffed by team-member Wayne. Complimenting our long list of services, we now offer quality fabricated sheet metal parts specifically designed for Chrysler & Valiant vehicles.

In closing, PP&R's long-standing dedication to customer service and supporting the hobby we know as Chrysler enthusiasts has assisted us in offering products and services not usually available to our marque. Our more than competitive pricing on replacement parts has given us the edge on our competitors whom have kindly labelled us the "new guys" or "backyarders". New we may be, but backyarders we are not. Toegether we have a combined 100 years experience, not just the opinion of a single person.
