SHY-225 is certainly getting more work than we first anticipated. The car itself is not to blame, the more work that the boys do the more adventurous we get ! Yes, some things have changed. You can see by the images below that alot of new custom mods have been undertaken and completed. These include a wiper motor delete as we will be using an internally installed motor. The inner fenders have just about been totally fabricated for a cleaner look. The radiator support panel has been totally redeveloped to suit a centred radiator unlike the orginal item and a sturdy front chassis tie-rail incorporated for additional strength and a custom look. This tie-rail sits lower than standard to assist with problems we had with hood to radiator cap clearance issues that we experienced with the previous engine.

Another 'massive' modification that we discussed and have now completed was to centralise the front cowl to firewall panels. These always looked out of place to me as the factory panels are offset to the left, check the images below. This engine bay is really going to be something special. Those of you with keen eyes may be scratching your heads with regards to the new radiator support design and inner fender panel lines. I won't let the car our of the bag, but the fabrication work that the PP&R staff are going to do to this front-end is going to blow your mind ! Check back for more....

Here's some more progress shots of the VF. The PP&R boys and I were discussing some ideas to make this car display the work that PP&R does, I had an idea for the C-pillar sailpanel adn Wayne ran with it. The end result is a nice touch I think, getting rid of the plain flat panel and replacing it with what you can see below. There is some exciting things to come with this car..... keep stopping back for more updates.
